Canada Day

Canada Day became effective July 1, 1867, of the Constitution Act which united the three colonies of Province of Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick into a single Dominion.  It is often referred to as “Canada’s birthday”. The Dominion of Canada is known as a “kingdom in its own right”.

Canada celebrates this day through outdoor events, parades, carnivals, festivals, barbecues, fireworks, and musical concerts.
