Explore your life as far back as you can remember and draw a timeline of your life. Highlight the things that made you happy, your dreams, accomplishments, what you wanted to be, and what you still want to be

For example, my childhood was rough, but I do remember some of my thoughts and dreams. I have always wanted to be a teacher as young as five, I think. I used to line up my stuffed animals and pretend they were my students, and I was the teacher.

The purpose of this exercise is to reflect on things you remember, made you happy, fun moments, and things you treasure.

So sit down with some paper and pen and draw up your lifeline of events and happiness.
